The MusucBag Sleeping System
|
MusucBag (previously known as Lippi Selk'Bag) is a revolutionary new sleeping bag system which allows
you the maximum mobility you need whilst keeping warm. This new concept
retains the functionality of the traditional sleeping bag but you're mobile.
|
|
- Move your legs and arms apart freely
- Roll with your MusucBag, not in it
- Stand without any trouble, walk cross your legs and your arms, thanks
to it's reversible zippers.
Almost 30% of our time is occupied by sleeping, and a comfortable position, a suitable temperature and less restricted mobility
are fundamental for a good rest.
Of those three factors, movement is the greatest obstacle which the majority of sleeping bag users face.
This is where the MusucBag comes in, a sleeping 'bag' which gives maximum mobility, and allows us to spread heat through our body thanks to a good level of blood circulation.
Move around, roll over, move your arms, even stand up. Also ideal for reading whilst in bed, your arms wont get cold!
Perfect for use camping, caravanning, or maybe just lounging about at home, they come in two types, and various sizes, to suit everyone.
MusucBag Lite
The MusucBag Lite is a sleeping bag and romper suit
combined! Lighter and easier to pack than the Classic, it’s perfect for
Summer nights and shuffling around the house.
But what's it like in terms of cosy-ocity? Well its lining is made from
soft-touch polyester with a hollow fibre bonded filling. And whilst we're
not entirely sure what that means, we do know that each MusucBag Lite can
keep you warm even when its 1°C. Brrr-illiant!
Available in Blue & Anthracite (Coal Grey) and featuring a reinforced crotch
area(?) and higher quality zips, this innovative suit is set to become a
must-have accessory for Festival types and couch potatoes everywhere. You'll
never want to clamber inside an old school sleeping bag again!
MusucBag Classic
Wrapping yourself in a sleeping bag is all very snuggly, but
have you ever tried dancing to gingangooly without unzipping yourself? It's
not easy. In fact, unless you fancy caterpillaring around the campsite,
trying to do anything other than sleep in a traditional sleeping bag (no
nudging at the back) is virtually impossible. Step forward - and we mean
that quite literally - the incredible MusucBag Classic.
But what's it like in terms of cosy-ocity? Well its lining
is made from soft-touch nylon with a polyester hollow fibre bonded filling.
And whilst we're not entirely sure what that means, we do know that each
MusucBag Classic can withstand temperatures as low as -13°C. Brrr-illiant!
As you can see, this revolutionary wearable sleeping bag
gives you maximum mobility while keeping you warm as toast. Snuggled into a
MusucBag Lite you can move your limbs freely, stand up, walk, cross your
legs, Riverdance - whatever. Finding a comfy sleeping position is easy.
Cramp, what cramp?
What did we think?
The UKCampsite.co.uk was asked to take a MusucBag
and put it through it's paces and give our thoughts on it.
The selk' bag arrived and looked no different from a normal
sleeping bag in terms of size and weight, which is always a bonus execially
when one is pushed for space in the car or unit.
Upon unrolling it bought cheers from the children as it was something that
they had never seen before, but also were intrigued to find out more! The
quality appears to be superb and the material feels durable, breathable and
gentle to the skin.
To get in simply unzip both zips on the front and it flaps down, allowing
you to insert your legs and arms. I would suggest unzipping the end of the
arms before getting in, this will
enable your hands to come out and be used to zip up the front.
Once zipped up, you are fully enclosed, apart from your face, in the Selk'
Bag allowing movement including being able to walk around etc. I find that I
move a lot when sleeping and with traditional sleeping bags, I often find
that I am restricted and cannot get the freedom I need, I found with the
Selk that this was not a problem as the bag allowed full movement and kept
me snug and warm all night. |
I would suggest choosing your MusucBag size carefully as you do not
want one that is too small, or for that matter, too big, so we would suggest
you base your decision on size on the following:
If you are 5'9" and under I would suggest a Small / Medium MusucBag and if
you are over 5'9" we would suggest a Large / Extra Large MusucBag.
Overall a great quality sleeping bag, that does not compromise on any aspect
of a good, comfortable nights sleep.
Where can I get them from?
