What did we think?
The "Handy Hammock" arrived in good time and well packaged and the
instructions were easy to follow, we laid out all the parts, ensured it was
all there and with the help of my eight year old child, we quickly got to
assembly the hammock.
It really is easy to set this up and once set up provides a strong and
comfy hammock. We found it amusing to get in and out to start with,
but after a few practices , we were well on our way to perfecting the
perfect mount and dismount.
The weekend we tested the "Handy Hammock" is was very wet and windy and as
soon as the rain and wind came in, we quickly set to collapsing the unit,
this we did by removing the tensioning poles and simply tying the material
onto itself. This avoided the hammock blowing away like a kite and
kept the inside dry.
This is a strong and secure portable hammock and packs up
very small to eliminate the need to carry heavy and cumbersome poles around.
Overall a great product which we struggled to keep the kids out of to let us
have a go!
