Choosing the right size:
Make sure you know the right size before ordering your MusucBag. Sleeping
bag sizes can differ tremendously from sizes you may wear in everyday
apparel. Check out our convenient size chart to see which MusucBag size is
right for you!
We always recommend when ordering a MusucBag, order a size which is taller
than you. Ordering a size which is exactly your height or nearly your height
can be restraining when you sleep. If your height is on the verge of sizes,
we always recommend choosing the larger size as it will be more comfortable
when you sleep and of course will increase mobility and movement while
sleeping.
- Medium - 5ft 7 - 5ft 9
- Large - 5ft 11 - 6ft 3 / chest measurement: 50 inches
- Extra Large - 6ft 5 - 6ft 7
If you are between sizes please go for larger size.
What did we think?
I was intrigued when I heard about the Musucbag, and couldn't wait to try it out. The chance came on a rather cold trip in the campervan in April. I hadn't brought a heater, and the temperature had dropped to near freezing the night before, so it was an ideal opportunity to give it a good test! Getting into the bag is usually quite easy, the front zips right down, and you just sort of climb in it. In the campervan, it wasn't quite so simple, as I cannot stand up, so it involved some wriggling to get in. Once in and zipped up though, it was warm and cosy, and very comfortable. The bag has a hood, and pull strings to tighten it under your neck, so you can keep your entire body nice and warm. I don't like the feeling of being confined in a normal sleeping bag, so being able to move my arms and legs about was great. The end of the arms unzip, so you can still hold a book, torch or whatever. The bag come in a generously sized compression sac, so it was easy to stuff away in the morning, and packs up to reasonably small size.
Last week, on a another camping trip, I mentioned I had one to the people I was camping with. The news was heard with some (unexpected) excitement, most of them had heard of the Musucbags, and all were keen to try it out! Cue much merriment, as everyone took it in turns to get in to the bag, and prance about the awning wearing it, like deranged aliens! It went down a storm, with everyone saying they'd love to get one. All in all, I'd say a smashing luxury buy for camping or caravanning, go on treat yourself!
