The Worlds Most Useful Bucket?

Designed and created by Oxfam, this award winning bucket has a fitted lid and a tap. UKCampsite.co.uk member Jan Hurst gives her thoughts on how this could be a perfect camping accessory:
My trusty 20 Litre plastic jerry can finally succumbed to over 15 years of use. When you've had a piece of kit for a long time the cost of a replacement can be a shock, certainly was for me, with sturdy 20L cans coming in at £15.00 or more.
While mooching around camping & outdoors shops doing a price comparison I was also checking out the bargains in the charity shops and in Oxfam I found a bucket, the kind they send out to disasters in the third world and now sell in their shops.
14 Litre capacity and with a removable tap and an airtight lid all topped off with a neat carrying handle. In the lid was a filling hole also with attached airtight cover, the filler had a lip to it so it could also be used for pouring. I had my doubts about the size & shape. but at £6.99 thought it was worth a try...
Last week in Devon it came into it's own, firstly for the journey down I removed the tap & lined bucket with a bag & filled it up with utensils & t-cloths etc - no space wasted. On arrival I was then able to give it a thorough wash before filling. Filling was a breeze, lid off sat it on the ground under the water tap, was able to have tap on full blast, so bucket was full in no time. The tap is efficient & controllable.
It's since occurred to me that I'll never have a stale water container to deal with again, I can store this one open & give it a good clean at the start of the season, I now plan to buy another as back up.
