Upper Hurst Farm in Buxton, Derbyshire, is an award-winning, eco-friendly site, in the heart of
the Peak District National Park, is a peaceful and tranquil environment, which
is ideally located for exploring one of the most beautiful parts of the country.
Set in a rural idyll surrounded by open countryside, Upper Hurst Farm is a
family-run caravan and camping site, with close to 360-degree panoramic views over the stunningly beautiful Peak District National Park, close to the picture-postcard village of
Hartington.
The site facilities are accessible to all with the purpose-designed shower
block featuring a generous wet room, which offers easy access for wheelchair
users and for those with limited mobility.
The caravan and camping pitches at Upper Hurst Farm are on a large, gently
sloping field, in which generous super-pitches have been created. The pitches
offer stunning views over the surrounding rural landscape, with open views to
surrounding higher ground.
Upper Hurst Farm has 11 tent pitches, all with optional 10A electric hook-up,
which are set around the perimeter of the main camping area. There is ample room
for toddlers to play safely in the centre of this area, but there is a separate
area for ball games.
At Upper Hurst Farm they want everyone to be able to enjoy care-free and truly
relaxing holidays and short breaks.
Dogs are very welcome and they have a purpose-designed dog walk, which leads
around the perimeter of the site. Barbeques are allowed and they hire fire pits
