we are now the proud owners of a brand new cabanon stratos L which we bought from the caravan show at NEC yesterday(sunday) we pick it up middle of february and can,t wait to try it out ,been getting a few insurance quotes and the best so far is £86,if anyone can recommend a good insurance deal .please let me know.we went for the L model (no kitchen) as we already have all the cooking stuff and felt it was a waste to get it.will have a look if there is a club for cabanon owners.
thats great grifterman,we got ours from uk camping international. the best so far with insurance is caravanwise, you can do an instant quote after filling in a few questions .it obviously depends on your details you give but we we,er quoted £80 which includes a non-refundable admin cost (do,snt say how much this is)and can be paid by 10 months d/d.i don,t think this is a bad price but will have a look at a few more before deciding ..btw this is old for new
at the nec show it was £2495 plus you got £200 vouchers which you can use to pay for accessories . we also got the 2 u/beds (£100),which i thought was a bit over-priced and large fridge box(£180) .we were originally going for the sunncamp 400se but after having a long look at both we decided on the cabanon for its better quality and the zipped ground sheet which my wife liked.as the L model came without kitchen was another factor which persuaded us to go for the stratos .thanx for the insurance link ,i will check it out
This is my first post but we have just received our first TT a Stratos L as we fell in love with in from the website and bought it without seeing in showroom (which we now have when we collected it)
Have you any feedback, or has it not been used yet. We are due to try ours for the first time at Easter all being well, but obviously need to find somwhere to try it first and make sure we know how it works. Any advice would be appreciated.
We appear to be starting a Cabanon Stratos owners club.
We are going to the Sandringham Estate for Easer.
Arriving Saturday 7th April and stopping until Sunday 15th. Why not turn it into a Cabanon Stratos owners meet, Pitched side by side it would look like a row of new houses. Compare notes, drink beer.
sounds cool , i,m a bit suprised that there is no cabanon owners club already as ,by a number of posts, they are a high quality unit ,according to our tt supplier we will be seeing a lot of cabanons this summer ,they appear to be selling loads over the past few months..........
We picked our Stratos up on Saturday from Camping International too.
Sounds like a really good idea to have an owners club and to meet up somewhere. A row of Stratos would look cool.
We also need to find somewhere to try it out for the first time as we didn't get to put the awning up when we picked it up.
My youngest son wanted to go camping next week, but looking at the snow today he changed his mind!So I guess Easter will be our first outing too.
Also we are interested in being able to transport our bikes on top of the trailer, so if anyone has made a rack we would love to have the details. £180 is a lot to pay for the Cabanon one
i have a cabanon neptune DL cant wait to get her out .. so is there a cabanon owners club ??
------------- Does a full 140g bar of Dairy Milk count as part of my 5 a day??
