The Trigano plate doesn't help with the date of the unit. A Trigano dealer told me the only way to date it is to send Trigano an email asking them to date it from the serial number. The only clues we have to date our Randger are the date stamps on the wheels and gas hose. Ours is supposedly a 2004 model, the serial number makes it a 1939 model!
There have been a few discussions about dates of Trigano units here and on the Trigano owners site and so far nobody has found a way of deciphering the serial number.

Raclet part of the same group do have the date as part of the plate. In all my Raclet's the last two numbers have been the year of the unit.
Shame you have to get in touch with Trigano to get the year of manufacture.
