Hi,

Just wondering if anyone else owns a Casita Folding Caravan, as it would be lovely to discuss certain things with them that probably mean nothing to anyone else

Ours is a 3100 1980 3 berth. It's gorgeous and we love it

Look forward to hearing from you, and if anyone knows of an owners club, I love to have the contact details

This is ours.........

Hi,

I have a Casita Saturna four berth that I'm restoring.

Not sure what year it is, probably mid 80's. Still in surprisingly good condition, just needs freshening up in places and a bit of tlc.

Not much on the net about them, there must be a few out there as they crop up on eBay quite regularly.
I haven't found an owners club, perhaps we should start one.

Hi,

We have recently just bought  a Casita 4 berth 1983 model we think.Any photos or info would be appreciated.

Searched the net and they are no longer in production.Haven't found out much about them apart from i have found a company who supplies a spare wheel, something which is hard to come by.

Hi All, First of All To "Whippetlover" I Did'nt Appreciate the Pun Of Being... A Billy No-Mates !! ....( Naah... Just Kidding) LOL. As You Probably Guessed By Now... My Name Is Billy !!.

Anyway... I Have A Folding Casita Marque Early 80's 4 Berth (Also Purchased From Ebay)

As "Jack Daw" Suggested Why Don't We Start A "CASITA" Club?... Although I Would'nt Know How To Go About It. But Would Be very happy to Paticipate.

I Do Have Lots Of Photos (Different Models & My Own) Sourced From Internet If Anyone Is Interested?

I Posted On Here Before For Other Casita Owners... But, Got No Replys So I'm Glad I Found This One.

Hi Billy+ Dee

Thanks for replying to my message......   Any photos would be muchly appreciated, especially of 4 berths as the only ones i have found have a double bed at one end and bunks at the other...

The one we have bought has a double bed at both ends and seems to be between 18 inches and 2 foot longer than the ones i have found.

An owners club sound like a good idea but you would have to be careful about the name as there is a "Casita Club" already  in existance, used by Casita Travelling Trailers in the USA

Hi everyone,

Looks like there are at least four of us Casita owners.
As the Casita club already exists perhaps "The Casita Register" would be a good name.

Looking forward to getting it on the road again this year,
might even take it out this weekend.

Mine is another four berth, here's a few pictures.

As I said it needs a little tlc but I think it's great.

Billy&Dee,

Post your pictures on here so we can all see them, it's quite easy.

First you need to shrink them down a bit, I use PIXresizer which is really easy to use and is free.

PIXresizer

800x600 is a good size, the ones above were 400x300.

Next you have to host your pictures on the internet somewhere, I use Photobucket which is free as well.

Photobucket

here's a useful guide from another forum what to do next.

How to post pictures

Hope this helps.

Hi Jack,

Thanks for the pics of your Casita. From the pictures you have posted, your van looks to be slightly different to ours.We have a table either end. Both ends fold down into double beds. When both tables are set up we have seating for 8 to 10 people...

Have found out that our van is a Casita 3900L. Havent managed to find any other owners yet but if we keep trying we will eventually find some ha ha.

Hi All ... 1st Thanks To jack_daw For The Links To PIXresizer, Photobucket, And How To Post Pictures. I'll Look Into These And Hopefully Add Some Pics

By The Way Your Van Looks Neat !!.. Loving It.

Also Loving DavenAnn's Van....

Now I'm Feeling Embarrassed  To Add My Van Pics... Why?... Cos' Mine Looks To Be Older Than These Others!

It's A 4 Berth..But, Has 1 Double Bed At 1 End... And 1 Single Bed With A Hammock Style Bed Above At The Other. ( Making Up...1 Double Table & 1 Single Table) You'll See What I Mean When I Add Pics.... Wish Me Luck  .

It's Looking Good Now We've Managed To Fix It Up A Little, Much Better Than When 1st Purchased. No More Leaks, Draughts Or Musty Smells ..And It Also Has A Tatty Awning Which We Are Going To Replace.

I've Added More Electrics, Repainted Walls, Replaced Cupboard Handles, And Placed Brushed Aluminium Blinds At The Windows ( Really Brings It Upto Date! ) We're Hoping To Replace Carpets & Covers Later... But We Just Wanna Get-Away In It For Now!!

Keep Checking Back If Interested... Pics Should Be On Soon?

Thanks To All For Taking The Time To Read This.. Catch You All Later.

Billy&Dee.
