I'm looking for a gas floor heater to fit to my Rapido. The type mine has fitted is a Riviera Gas heater although I am aware that some trailer tents have the same or something simular fitted. I'm also looking for an awning to fit the same I know these things are pretty rare. If there is anyone out there who has one or knows where I can get one then it'll be appreciated.

Some later rapido's (think it were the matic range) had a gas floor heater fitted I think they're the same as some Dandy trailer tents as well although I'm not sure if there is other makes of trailer tents that have them fitted. I have some pictures of one I'll put a picture on my profile so people can get an idea on what I'm on about. I want one of these as they have a flue underneath as I dont really trust a catalytic heater especially as I want to use it all year round & some of the places I visit do not have electric hook up as I tend to go to rallies.

i got a riviera heater from someone on ebay and fitted it into our dandy..great bit of kit,,,,

I've been looking on ebay but not many show up on there. I,ll still keep looking though unless one turns up elsewhere. It'd just be nice to get one so as to complete my van so I can use it all year round & not be restricted to just electric hook up sites. I did bid on one earlier this year but got outbid at the last minute......

My OH sold one of those on ebay for £50 earlier this year - only one bidder - it came out of an old Transcamper Trailer tent he'd bought for £50 and then stripped (it had a leisure battery and three way fridge in too).

I must be missing them as I've only ever seen one on there & that went for around 70 quid. I have found one on another site but think I may be to late for that too. I'm sure persistance will pay off in the end it just don't help being an impatient git lol.
