Any photos or details of any modifications you've made to your FC? I'm thinking of putting removable shelves in the wardrobe, which is hardly an earth shattering or imaginative mod, but it starts the ball rolling.
Removable matching wooden shelf in wardrobe...now a food cupboard. Lightweight porch awning...for weekends away. Two handles on pull-out beds...instead of one. Additional miniature strip-light fitted into shelving(the one next to hob). Cable trunking neatly stuck on inside of doorway enclosing extension lead and aerial lead to wardrobe area...for amplified tv aerial and wifes hairdryer(lol). Socket on outside...for awning light.
we've completely removed our wardrobe after someone on here suggested it. It means that someone can crawl through the camper without putting it up and turn the fridge onto travel mode. It gives us much more room to store stuff in the trailer.
We've also put a light under the shelving unit in the kitchen bit. We haven't quite worked out where to site and what kind of a mirror we're going to use now the wardrobe is not there any more.
We wanted to put a small table in the seating area but were advised against it as we were told that it might interfere with the integrity of the wall.
We also use a cupboard insert as a spare shelf next to the cooker. We put all of the mobile chargers, etc. underneath the shelf.
Next time out we are going to put the kitchen unit on a table and use the outer gas socket.
During the daytime we put a coloured hand towel over our Porta Potti and disguise it as a table top for the kettle which in turn frees up more space on the cooker/sink work top, at nightime it transforms back to a Porta Pottie again.
I have replaced the 12v dc light in the main cabin with an ac one and put a battery light in the toilet. I will only be camping with electric hook up so this saves 12kg of leisure battery weight. Small battery lights for emergency. Electric light with shade for awning. I have fastened a curtain to the centre of the roof liner with velcro to give privacy for dressing and sleeping. Easilly removed during the day. A small shelf fastened the the back wall between seats for cups of tea etc. Memory foam toppers and cotton mattress protectors on double beds. I have a microwave with a grill to save gas and much easier to clean.
I will put photos on next time I have the camper opened.
Frederico, I'd be very interested how you attached a small table on the back wall, please. When I asked our dealer about doing this he seemed to think it would interfere with the integrity of the wall.

Thanks.
Friends of ours have made their own with a single folding table leg and a longer table top which slides under the mattress. (hope that makes sense)
It is a small shelf not a table. The shelf I used is about 6" x 18" with a 1" lip around it. £9.99 from B&Q. It is fastened by 2 screws through the lip. I did some repairs to my camper last year and noticed there is a framework of wood around the inside of the back wall. I fasten the shelf on at the top of the wall just below the bed where the wood framework is strong enough to take screws. Easilly removed at night in case it gets damaged. It is strong enough to hold 4 mugs of tea or perhaps 3 pint glasses. A larger folding shelf might be more dificult to do. Sorry no photos, I will take some when I next open my camper which might be a week or two.
