Hi,

Completely new to caravanning....help!

We have purchased a 2004 Bailey Ranger 550/6 and plan to use my company car BMW X1

I have checked it on the below website and it comes out at 82% - Good yes?

Then I thought I should look at nose weights ...

The X1 noseweight is 80Kg, as is the tow bar I am having fitted...

However I keep reading 'horror' (a little dramatic!) stories about the nose weights of this caravan being in excess of 100Kg

Does anyone have any experience with this caravan model that can help shed some light for me?
