We had such a great time - brilliant fun both in the park and on the site and the weather redeemed itself today.
Great to meet baby Isobel, Trina and the gang and Wayne. Isobel is probably the only one who didn't get muddy. Thanks for making Rich and Naomi so welcome too - I think they might be converted.
Hope you all had better journies home than in the deluge arriving - especially Terry and Paula who have a huge drive now. Us and the Clarkes are the lucky ones with only a twenty-odd minute trip. Thanks to Paul and Wendy for being fab hosts as usual.
we are back as well. Well the weather was a bit wet at times but i think we all made it to the play area. what a pity we could not have a firepit, it was a bit cold after it got dark. nice to catch up with old friends and meet a few new ones.
We got home about 8.30, had to struggle to get out of the car with my ever so slightly brused tail bone
This weekend was probably one of the best turn outs that we have had at a meet in a long time especially considering the weather that we had on Friday.
It's been great meeting all the newbies this weekend and we'd like to say thankyou to all of you that turned up for this meet
Woodlands are more than happy for us to return again next year, let us know if you think it would be a good idea.
it was a brill weekend everyone thanks.. i got some pictures that i will upload soon... nice burn to my elbows and knees aswell lol dont worry darren u still wont catch me next time of playing tag>> or you pecker <<
We got back to the house around 7:45pm had a race against the clock to get the caravan back in to storage.
Isobel let us get as far as exeter services before demanding feeding. She loves camping already at 6 weeks does this offically make her the youngest ukcs camper !
Weather was very foul arriving friday but everyone was in very good spirits and that was the sober ones.Really enjoyed myself and the kids did but this silly bugger has now a swollen ankle from acting like a big kid in the dragons den.
I reckon Isobel could well be the youngest camper, unless of course someone knows different lol
Sorry that we didn't come over for the guided tour of the new van but it looks like a really nice van that you have got there and I did notice how you kept Mandy away from the pink

Lol she either had her feeding utensils out or changing a nice nappy so I doubt you would have wanted that. Still cant belive we got a good deal on a van that age.Though I will be looking for a differant tow vehicle for next year it will pull it but doesnt quite have enough horses to tow with ease.
