This is a meet for over 60s singles only, so I hope that doesn't offend anyone.

Some of us over 60s singles have pencilled in a couple of nights at the Miners Standard at Winster, Derbyshire, (here) for the 8th and 9th July. If anyone would like to join us, please add your name to this thread (if you don't want to do that, go to my profile, click the link to my website and contact me through that by email), I will then tell the site who to expect and each person can phone and book their own pitch, because they need a deposit.

I've pencilled in 6 pitches for assorted units and have at least two taken already.

Unfortunately, I can't make those dates, but really like the idea (as long as we don't have to be in bed by 10 )

Do you still need to tell the site first, or should I just book direct? If direct, do I need to mention anything, so that they know there's a group of ancient relics around Are we booking electric hook-ups?

There will be other tents with or without electric hookup.
