Hi!

Had a great weekend, lovely campsite.

We dropped the van off at Kincardine at mid-day, pottered about getting some shopping, washing the car, and getting the cat, before getting home at 2.

Then within 5 minutes of getting back it was snowing - I think it must have followed us.

Hope everyone else got home/gets home safe too!

Hi ,  It was so nice to meet you and your family yesterday.  I am pleased that you go home ok.  It's been snowing on and off most of the morning but it's not coming to anything.   Hope to meet you again some time.

made it back no probs, was a lovely drive back once we were on the callander road, had lunch at McChavs at stirling services. van is now back in the drive, just got to unload and start the washing and get some food in

was great to see everyone again, weather was okay considering the forecast although I did have kittens this morning when I saw the snow. Mum enjoyed herself meeting all of the gang, one thing 4 in my van is okay, 5 is a squeeze still will have the awning next time

hope everyone else makes it back okay

Alan, when you've looked into can you let me know details of the newtongrange meet.  I'm "convincing" my mum to come up for a weekend sometime april/may for matt  and i to get away on our own.  Maybe we could make it that one?

Shel

Alan

If Newtongrange is full &/or pricey, how about Crossburn at Peebles - it's closer to you by about 15 miles too (according to google maps!)

e-mails sent to both sites, reckon for me it is 6 and 2 3's travelling time, will see who responds, will chase at the weekend

got the sat tv kit from maplins today, looks good. Thanks for that tip. Mum is pleased as she hates missing casualty on saturday nights :-) and I have to keep her happy

Mum (margaret) also sends her regards to everyone and thanks for making her feel welcome, she will probably have her own ukcs login by the weekend (albeit via her pc interpreter LOL)

After Friday at Cruachan, I have decided that Silver Screens for the fold up part of the wee caravan will be a must for the 2009 season. However, with the wee heater, the van was okay and there was always the option of going and scrounging a cuppa in someone else's warmer van

I have one more modification to make to the van that showed up during the Cruachan Meet and I will sort this out in time for a 4 day trip away towards the end of April. If that works, we will be all set for some major touring this coming Spring and Summer.

My thanks to all who made it to Cruachan, visitors and participants alike. It was an excellent Meet.

Hi we were supposed to come to cruachan, but we decided to go to peebles only 20 miles from us. we stayed at crossburn which was nice. wife still likes to go to rosetta as you can walk into town centre from there.

Alan what sat kit did you get from maplin? we could not get a signal at crossburn.
