Hi has anyone got a tent they dont want 6-8 berth my grandkids go camping with thier dad but thier tent has now sprung a leak unfortunately they cannot afford to buy one as things stand at the moment so they are really upset so if anyone is giving up or knows where we can get a free tent from it would be much appreciated we live in the manchester area many thanks from margaret

Have you tried Freecycle? They tend to be inundated with "Wanted" posts, but you never know - you could luck out.

there is also a site called ecobees similar to freecycle.you can get lucky on freecycle as we gave  quite a few tents away on there after people posted wanted ads.we even  got an outwell montana 4 off freecycle and it was like new,passed it on now though as we upgraded to a montana 6.good luck

You could try a free "wanted" advert here, but is it impossible to fix the leak with a suitable repair patch?

Have a look on Freecycle and Preloved for the free ads, also put 'wanted ads on them both. Be prepared to wait though as some people will be waiting until the end of the season before replacing or giving away equipment.

Hi Maggie.
I have an 8 man, 3 pod family tent which I was planning to give to a disaster charity. It is in reasonable condition, though in heavy rain it does leak a little around the outer doors.
Bearing this on mind it may not be what you want, if it is suitable you are welcome to the tent for free, I would just ask that you made a donation, of say, 50 pounds to the Pakistan relief fund.
