just got back from our short weekend away trying for the first time our new Outwell Winfield and Coleman double dual fuel stove.

well the Outwell, WOW, taken no more than 10 mins to get up and another 5 to peg and guy, amazing for such a well sized tent we thought, and out of our 3 tents we both agreed it was our fave, okay the Gelert LV6 will come into its own for 1 week + hols but for the weekends the Outwell is unbeatable, and £85 brand new aswell, bargain all round..

the Coleman, all my worries with petrol were soon forgotten when I actually started using it, what an amazing piece of kit and we soon realised that a cheapo non stick frying pan from supermarket is on the list as the proper camping ones we found to be too flimsy for the power of the Coleman. this morning was kettle on a cuppas made in minutes, then it was little toaster rack on main stove while scrambled egg on secondry stove, its brill..

so lots of big thumbs up for the Outwell Winfield and the Coleman duel fuel stove.

and it was our first time at Wolvey which is just outside     Hinkley in Leicestershire, and its very well run, good toilet and shower blocks, a launderette, small campshop and a tv room with pool table and a 5p fruit machine, also 9 hole putting green, well stocked fishing lake and some lovely views and apparently some good walks.

also lots of EHU's for you posh people

Hi Guitarkid,

Peterspal has just posted on Equipment asking about the Coleman dual fuel stove, maybe you could give him the benefit of your experience with it.

Glad your weekend went well. The site sounds good too. Going to have a look at that one.

Outwell Winfield in Outdoor Megastore is £199.  Where did you buy it at £85 please.

local paper, chap had bought one after seeing his friends, then bought a caravan a month after, hadnt even had it out of the bag, absolute spank brand new, I haggled him to £85 from £100 and he accepted, we wasnt looking for a tent but couldnt pass on it and we absolutely adore it, easy to put up, more than roomy for weekend/long weekend, and optional add on to make it bigger... Hi,

We love our Winfield too. Haven't seen any other tent that would suit us more (still waiting to see a Monty 6 in the flesh).

The Outwell Side Canopy fits the Winfield a treat (see gallery image)..best thing we ever bought.  We cook under our canopy so it doesn't matter if it rains.

Can't believe you got it at that price..well done!  I think we paid £150 for ours at camperlands.
