Can anyone recommend a folding bbq on legs. Reason being we are going camping soon and we do have a small bbq which has seen better days. And not only that i have recently had an accident and damaged my knee [after x-rays confirming everything was fine but badly bruised] i'm not on crutches but i can't bend my knee i did want one of those folding bbq's but don't think i'll be able to manage one too low and i can't let OH cook as i want to live
I don't live in england but wales and we do have a co-op super market the only super market we have in our town. Should pop in there tomorow if my leg can take me that far [1/2mile away] i don't drive
I have the b&q one same as kellymc, legs fold under like an ironing board, no fiddling to assemble each time.
Quite big too, family sized , takes at 2 bags of self lighting charcoal to get it going well. When we tried it with just one it didn't last long enough to cook properly.
If you are after a small bbq, for 2 people, say, the bucket bbq is good, on offer in woolworth for £8. But it is low.
Yes, I agree with you Cathy. BTW Kellmc, you could purchase, perhaps on-line a "family" sized disposable barbie as suggested by Barden. Nice and clean!!

And if you are really lay, 2 disposable BBQ's fit snugly in the bottom, so no need to clean out charcoal etc.. just bin the disposable trays!!!
Great idea, I've been looking for a suitable portable BBQ for 1 person but the small ones I've seen all sit on the ground, I could get this and put a disposable tray in it when its just me away and use it properly when Im with friends. Could even use it as a stand for my single ring burner and it has some wind protection built in.

Thanks Eric and Barden for the top tip, great idea, much less hassle
Thanks for all you suggestions i have been to focus just on the off chance and they had a sale on a fire pit complete with grill and it's on legs reduced to £11.49 hopefully that will help my leg
B and Q sell a stand for disposable barbeque which is just a frame which folds flat. It's high enough to sit next to on a folding stool and only costs £2.98. We have one for camping and it works fine.
