For those of you unfortunate enough to read my previous post on a camping trip to anglesey 4 years previous this was to be our second attempt at doing the camping thing. The full saga and our adventures will follow in another post but for the time being I ask can anyone beat this for a camping pitch?
The site is in southwest Scotland (you know who you are!) and we were pitched under the tail of a world war 2 bomber. The plane coincidentally was also lit up by a floodlight at night (I can only assume so the nocturnal badgers could get a better view) and if I awoke once I awoke a dozen times thinking it was morning.
Phoned last week for a week in Sep as reveiws were brill, but they must be having a laugh, for me and the OH and our dog £28.75p per night in Sep,so looks like 2 weeks at harlyn sands £6.00 a night

------------- Think this year is to follow old meet friends for 2014.
If you cant do someone a good turn, don`t do them a bad one,its nice to be nice you know, and little things mean much more later in life.
Pete.
We got the last pitch avaialble which says it all really. Cold wet and uterly miserable i didnt have the energy to complain so packed the car and headed home,
