I think the forumla for working out if things will trip is as follows -
Take the wattage of the appliance and divide by 240 volts, the result gives you the amps, so for example a 2000 watt heater divided by 240 volts equals + 8.3 amps.
If your on a 10amp hook up, your getting close to the limit.
