Hi there, Has any one got any good ideas on how to fix the running bed rails on the front pull out bed. These are only 5cm by 5cm in wood and attatched with screws. We try not sit or put and weight in the middle when bed is being made up to save the ends but it was enevitable they are spliting and coming away.

you need a piece of wood the same length as the one that is on,most important as there is little room each side when you slide it back in,the wood is 2, 3/4 inches x 3/4 of inch.remove the old one and shape the wood as per picture to fit.before gluing and screwing make sure it fits inside the slot left by the old one.after this glue and screw.as you can see i have used 10 screws and added caps.length of screw is crucial as you do not want it to go through.

Hi I notice you also have a bailey ranger, Me and the wife have also just brought a bailey ranger, I was wondering if you have, or had the same issue as us? the bed slats are really hard to pull out? I have to sort of half lift the little unit for them to come out and have to give them a really hard yank.

Hi,

I wondered if anyone knows how to repair/replace the runner of my bed. I have a rally caravan and the runner which the bed runs on at the front of the caravan has broken on the front end  so we are unable to make the bed up any ideas? sorry if this is not a very good explanation.
