Last night whilst onsite with the lights & heater we heard a loud pop followed by a faint burning smell from the cupboard area. On closer inspection it appears that we have lost the 12 v charging function. After searching the internet it appears that Swift 2006 suffered with this problem, so now I have to see if I can remove the unit to inspect .The unit is a NE2006 CWS.
I suppose I have to work out what's wrong with it & then see if its repairable or just bite the bullet & buy new.
Shouldn't be a probleb to remove it I hope but any advice would be appreciated.
Thanks
My Swift Challenger has a problem with charging, since we used the motor mover to get onto a pitch, although hitched up to EHU, for 4 days, the battery went completely flat. Anyone know if I can get it repaired?
