All of the above, plus check fuses; torque wheel nuts; replace toilet cassette (keep it in garage over winter.) then go through my list to make sure everything is back in the van. ALWAYS check that cooker/fridge/fire/water heater/lights work before setting off on travels!!! Finally, sit in van on drive with cup of tea just to check that that aspect works ok!!!

Full service booked for early March which includes a damp check, replacement of  bathroom tap which is faulty, and will only give out hot water, wash all outer surfaces with fenwicks, and rinse with Bobby Dazzler, Sanitise all interior kitchen surfaces and flush through water systems, clean fridge, cooker clean, shelves and cupboards from any dust which has settled during the winter, replace soft furnishings, (clean bedding, towels, pillows, sleeping bags and duvets, sheets, teatowels ect) remove salt bowls and dehumidifyer, put heating on for a couple of days to air and warm through before first trip out of the season, stock up with a few basic food store items for the season, pasta, rice, cerials, a carton long life milk,tea, coffee, everything to make a cuppa and a bite to eat when we first arrive on site really! 

Then a final check around to see if we have missed anything out from the routine before we hit the road for the start of the season

missed them phil .

add grease all steady legs and tow hitch nipples.WD all locks inc wheel clamps.i also cover the rollers up and WD all the mover each side all over this stops it rusting.WD both plugs black gray to prevent rusting inc car ones.

probably the most important thing to do first is book a holiday!!!!!!

that gets my backside in gear to check everything in the van still working everything tight and that everything is back in there ready for us to hook up and go

Forgot to say Merry Christmas to everyone on the forum.

Keep using the van all year and deal with each problem as it arises.  I am booked into a site for New Year but may not make it in this weather.  ( I have been known to set out when the temperature was minus 9 but I'm getting older and harder to warm up now.)

How sad is this in the early hours of Christmas Day, think I had nothing better to do.

Actually I've just sat down after a hectic day and relaxing before tomorrow's invasion of several grandchildren and accompanying parents.

I got Holi back today (had to move her out of the garage to make way for another Mini project) and she is having a good wash and polish tomorrow.
New tyres going on in a few weeks time, moisture traps have been replaced, top vent open to let some fresh air in and OH is going to check things like brakes, lights and grease the bits that need it!
Curtains and cushions all in good condition after her first winter standing outside!

Then hopefully get a campsite booked and go on holiday!
