Hypercamp tents are good quality. Not as good as De Waard and ESVO but still very good.
We had a Hypercamp tent that performed excellantly in bad rainstorms and wind.
The Djakata and Eldorado are both cuties but not large so would be perfect for a couple but not a family. You might squeeze a little one in too but only a little one.
IMHO for the money, they are a good buy. If you have an itch then I say scratch it :)
And I totally agree that once you have had cotton, there is no going back

Hi we have a Hypercamp Djakarta what a lovely tent for the money the inner tent has an awesome PVC groundsheet looks like it will last forever the tent has mudflaps made of same PVC.
The inner tent is large and has room for Linda and myself to sleep in plus room for all the camping bits food, clothes, ect and we are still able to move about without walking over everything.
The porch is large enough for us to sit at a table to eat and cook inside if we need to but i wouldnt like to use it for more than two if you want a bit more room in the porch i would get the Eldorado as it is 3metre wide where the Djakarta is 2.6 metre wide.
If you look on our gallery pics there is one of the Djakarta i just put it on for you would have put some more on but am not able to delete my other pics and looks like you can only have 3 pics on there and i cannot find out how to load pics with this post hope this helps you make up your mind there is just nothing like being in a pyramid i think its something to do with the shape of the panels and the colour of the light PS does this last bit make sense to anyone.

Makes perfect sense to me too (unfortunately for my OH)
One of these days...........
I'd sell most of the other tents just to be able to buy one.

Thankyou for posting the pics Linda and Dave.
Just showed them to the OH and he likes it.Good price, size and weight-cute looking too.Perfect for a smaller tent when its just the two of us.
Now a little question-would you think there would be room for a double airbed and a small child on a mat/campbed,like sardines i know, but this would be once in a blue moon when we do the odd festival as a family.
Sara
The bedroom is 240cm wide so unless you have a mega huge bed then you would all fit. Not much space for clothes etc but who needs clothes at festivals
Would certainly stand out in a crowd of muddy pop up tents :)
I loved it in the Obelink showroom but OH dragged me away mumbling about it being too small blah blah blah. To me it is a perfect weekend tent and for the money you cant go wrong.
If you do buy one then remember that you must post pics. It is the law lol

Just found the Eldorado on Obelink too. Look at the price 149 Euros!!!
Now that's what I call a bargain! OH still says no though!
Eldorado
Best not show him this then!
The one in the link is a beauty. Definately family sized. OH loves that one.
Canvas fanatics should take a trip to Holland and check out the large camping stores.:)

Yes it does have a moveable front.
The SIG goes up to the middle position then it comes with a smaller loose groundsheet to use if you use the front position.
It is the same size as our Atlanta so in all honesty, there is enough family room in the middle bit so you can always have a canopy.

Do I really need another excuse to have a good ogle at Obelink?
And as for visiting Dutch camping stores, well before Christmas I did float the idea of a trip for that purpose and OH laughed at first but then I caught him looking at ferry timetables (of course I'd already been looking myself). I think with a bit of work we might just do it one day (honeymoon ideas anyone lol?)

My De Wit has a moveable front, whilst mine is nominally a 4 man (3m wide) there is plenty of room in the middle section and the full canopy is handy to sit out in the rain. Excellent design
