Has anyone bought one of these yet? Saw one on display at Norwich Camping at the weekend but they didnt have any in stock. Was thinking it might be handy to zip up and enclose the porch area so we dont have to put all the kitchen stuff inside the tent every time we leave it or it rains. Would be interested in anyones views.
Thanks

Hi there!
I too am quite interested in the vestibule for our Croyde 6 tent. I was going to go ahead and order one online until I realised the picture the company had was the vestibule for the Filey 6. I've since seen pictures for the Croyde 6 vestibule and it doesn't look as good at all. How was the vestibule displayed? I'm not sure why Kampa have changed the design for the Croyde 6. The way the straps loop over the pole right across the window is a poor design and the whole things just looks cheap and poorly fitted. I would be interested to hear your views. We live in Scotland and have nowhere to see the vestibule on display.
Thanks
I will be interested in seeing a picture and finding out how you got on with it, its still not in stock at our local camping shop and I am rather loathed to buy it off the internet without seeing it first.

We just bought one!! Doesn't have any instructions bot hopefully it'll be easy enough to put up?!!! Off camping for the long weekend so will let you know how we get on with it and will try and upload some photos too!
Well we love the vestibule. It's so easy to put up. There is a tie to go through the hole where the front guy rope is on the front of the tent. Once that is in place the vestibule just fits over the top and velcro's around the side poles. Once it's pegged out there are two side clips on each side that clips onto the second from the front pole and these can be tightened. There is a huge zip at the front that enables you to have the front area open as before and this also has a big window that has a curtain that can be rolled up. It doesn't come with an extra groundsheet so you are left with a strip of grass but this didn't bother us as we could leave the muddy boots here with out the groundsheet getting dirty. We did have some rain and there were no leaks although it became pretty windy and we ended up taking the vestibule down as it was being blown off the top. Perfect though on calmer days and really adds to the space in the croyde 6!
Thanks JaneJen.... glad to hear its a good purchase, unfortunately our local shop doesnt have it in stock yet, did you get yours online? I would like to buy one pretty soon.
Debs,
I bought ours from a company called Sky Blue Leisure. You get free delivery on orders over £75 but we paid the bit extra to have next day delivery. We live in Scotland, I placed the order about 10am and we got it the following morning. Really good service! Good luck with it and hope you like it!!!
We replaced the spiky end and the foot with c clips. (used a plumbing connection piece on the larger diameter pole.
This holds the front canopy taut whether the vestibule is up or not."
am i being dim here...wher did you fit the above poles poppy dog?
we are shopping for a tent at the minute and were going for the croyde 8 with vestibule, but the 6 looks to be about the same size(less about a meter of living area) and cheaper. buts either way we want the vestibule to make the front our kitchen/dinning area to stop little one messing.
