I currently own a Palamaros 6 which has a heavy duty ZIG. Due to the fact that the kids now sleep in pop up tents on our pitch we are thinking of swapping to a smaller tent.
What do you do with the groundsheet in the Eldorado how does it make the tent weather proof??? Please excuse my ignorance as the last few tents we have owned have all had a ZIG.
Thanks in advance
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
we had the Eldorado and it only had a SIG in the bedroom pod, the living room area was a separate groundsheet. We used a tarp underneath it all to act as a footprint and then tucked the mudflaps under so essence for us it was like SIG. How many kids do you have, as the living area isn't very big (we used it for just 2 of us)

May 13 - Cala Gogo, St Cyprien (didn't go, hubby too ill to travel)
May 14 Ranc Davaine
August 14 Les Sablons
August 13 - Camping Playa Brava, Pals
We have two kids but they now sleep in their own pop up tents hence the reason for the downsizing, we only really camp abroad and love the Palamos but for two people it is too big as we send all day outside looking at the Eldorado with a tarp for shade.
So just so I have it straight in my mind the sleeping pod has a SIG attached and then we would just need a further tarp and/or footprint for the whole of the tent.
