Yeah, with the partial refund it will be a good price and to be honest now I have pitched her and seen the layout I like it.
The moving front wall is neat and the 1.5 metre open front canopy is good, actually a more usable space than with the cabanon pyramides.
It doesnt have the aesthetic clean lines of the Cabanon pyramides but I think it is just the right tent for us.

We totally adore our De Wit and yours is almost the same so hopefully you will too
Ours does not have the moveable front but the living space is large so it doesnt matter and the canopy is indeed fab

Every one else seemed to have an appreciation society.
I think the moveable front will be useful in swirling winds, it will avoid the wind catching the canopy.
I do like the big canopy You can sit under it as the rain comes down, in my old tent at the first sign of drizzle we had to go inside and shut all the doors.

The dutch certainly like good tent pegs, I have about 10kg of pegs, big V pegs for sandy loose soil and some massive steel jobs, so big you could nail a brick to a tree if you were so inclined.
I think they are designed to go through any bedrock you try to pitch your tent on.
They certainly make standard tent pegs look fairly inadequate.

Dont mention pegs !
Due to another post that involved a nice tidy pile of camping gear, a couple of days ago I felt inclined to tidy our camping gear and what a job that was !
This included sorting the pegs... we have hundreds !!!!
I have to say though, out of all the new tents we have ever bought (lord that is quite a few lol) the De Wit is the only one that came with decent, strong, V pegs. I was quite impressed :)
Roch.. shut it and get a Dutch tent, you know you want to
