Okay, I'm sticking my neck out with such a title for the thread, but I was in Go Outdoors in Stockport and they had a Wild Country Halo 43 on sale at £200. One was pitched and I have to say that I was very impressed with the quality and design. The groundsheet made the one on my Outwell resemble tissue paper and the living area was a good size and with excellent head-height. It also has a built in porch area for wet storage, etc.
Any downsides? Well, it's inner tent pitched first, but many would say that this lends the tent greater stability and the inner tent material seemed able to withstand a bit of rain. Also the bedrooms are not standing height but this would give it improved streamlining if you pitch it bum to the wind.
If you are looking for a good quality but inexpensive 4-berth tent I would strongly recommend that you check out the Halo 43 at Go Outdoors.
Don't forget to leave a review of all tents you've used, for a chance to win fantastic prizes
The Halo of course comes from the Terra Nova stable, I have the tiny LaserLite (gallary) and although only 1kg! the quality is second to none, I have never seen the Halo, so I will make a point of giving it a view, I am working in Stockport next Thursday and could do with a refill for my 904 Campingaz cylinder, thanks for the heads up on the Halo..
