Hello.....

I have been camping (trailer tent) a few times now but tend to go to the same places. I would like to know of sites that are child friendly with nice play areas for the kids.

I like to go camping for the weekend quite a few times a year and chill out on the site with my kids. I am not too keen on having to go out for the day to amuse the kids as there is nothing to do on site. Some places I have been have stated there is a childrens play area but when we saw it.....well there was one swing so they wasn't exactly lying saying there was a play area!!!!

Please help me find some nice play areas on camp sites.....not too far from Derbyshire / Nottinghamshire

Sherwood forest site is a good one to try - plenty of kids there and a play area, very clean well kept site

If you don't mind a slightly longer journey then the Plassey is great too they have a small semi indoor swimming pool too.

are you a member of caravan and camping club if you are teversal  near mansfield  nice playground ,over the road you can go for walks or cycle on the different trails we go a couple of times and year kids love it they are 6 and 3.hope you find what you are looking where you decide to go.

hi agree with dimesy teversal is very nice plenty of walks in the country park

and the site is spotless also why not try ccc site conkers have a look on camp site search
