Not been to Seaview but have have been passed it and it is well situated. Been to Weymouth several times and it is a lovely area. Lulworth Cove is nearby and it beautiful and has a hill walk if you are up to it. Monkey world is about 30 mins I think. Weymouth has a good town centre, quay and a lovely beach. There was a theatre there (not sure if it is still open). There is fishing if you want, plenty of pubs and they do trips to Jersey from there but are a bit pricey. Lots of lovely countryside to drive round.
we went to seaview last year and had a great time ok i know havens not everybodys cup of tea but it only cost us 57 .00 for a weeks holiday in june there are loads of places to go, monkey world, tank museam, sealife centre(best one ive been) all exerllent places to go and all close to seaview campsite, weymouth beach is beautiful and the harbour and blue pool, durdal door is worth the climb (very steep) if you can mange it, you can also use the other haven(cant remenber the name) site think its about a mile away from seaview
We went quite a lot when the kids were little. They run a bus to the beach in Weymouth which runs every 20 mins from the entrance which I found useful. The loos are attached to the main complex which meant you had groups of teenagers hanging around so we used the camper facilities at night. Its typical haven which my four loved.

Stayed in a static a few years bak and enjoyed it. It was before our camping days so didnt pay much attention to the facilities. Looking to go back with the tent this year as bored with Burnham and want to use Tesco vouchers.
The bus to town is good as it is a fair walk into town. Weymouth itself is also good. We went in most days (only walked once!). The site is on a hill. I lost 4lb whilst there pushing the buggy and all the walking. Its a small site though so close to everything.
If you have young kids look out for an indoor play area by the habour called Sharkys.

I think Littlesea is a good site as well. Its the other side of Weymouth. I think it has smaller pitches which is why I am looking at Seaview. There should be buses to the town centre as well.
Just remember Haven is a family site so expect alot of kids.

Have you looked at the site on google earth, the touring pitches are right on the doorstep of the main clubhouse. Could make for some noisy nights if your not the staying up partying type. However if this is what your after
