We stopped here a couple of years ago before the name change , we were at the opposite end to the pub (which we found quite expensive) , the site was ok and the kids had a nice time on the play island (not really suitable for little ones as its over a little stream) , the loos were fine as were the showers. Kids could have tractor rides at a certain time each day (weather permitting) and also rides on a grass toboggan .

We found the food at the pub in the entrance to Watermouth Castle very good and a reasonable price. Any other questions , just ask.

Our kids are quite young and we were concerned about the overall suitability of the site.

We had originally hoped to go to Little Meadow but they were already booked up.

On balance I think we will look for somewhere a little more suited to younger children.
