Looking for a cheap New Forest area Campsite for only one night please. 

Daughter and Family are attending a Hospital appointment and need a cheap Campsite nearby for children aged 6-8yrs.,  they are not members of the Caravanning and Camping Club.

Any ideas would be helpful.

If they're not members of the club they shouldn't be allowed to stay on a CS

CS in my title was meant to read  'Camp Site', (not Certificated Site) not enough space to write it in full.

Most Campsites for non C&C members are up around the £30 ish region, they are hopeing to find a more basic site in the New Forest area for around the £20 ish mark if at all possible. They don't need EHU.

Just going to look up your sugested Campsite.

 Daugter is well impressed with your sugested CS, in the right location and looks like it comes in at £15 a night too.

My apologies too for assuming you meant a Certified Site -  I've been looking at the club websites today so obviously was a bit blinkered

I'm always on the look out for cheap sites so if I find any more I'll let you know.

Thank you for info and recomendations on Long Meadow Suzac and Lockie, think Daughter might have already contacted the first Campsite, but will keep her informed.

Oh, thats funny - ladies in evening gowns fecking!!   Maybe we could compose something similar about campsite fees.

 Glad you enjoyed it Homebird2003, yes, could compose a ( 'petition')  song about expensive campsite fees.

We only book up basic sites sites from £10 - £15 a night at most so we can afford more days away.

We like to use use EHU (Electric Hook Ups,) which is normally included in the pitch fees,(but not always.)

This time our electric was included in the price of £12 a night, but we were on a meter. We were worried that we would run out as the owner said they allowed £2 a day. For some reason we  were only given only a £5 card, but when we registered it it jumped up to £7, probably unused from the previous campers, we kept checking it, as did other campers, morning ,noon and night just to be sure we wouldn't run out, then after 9 days found we still had £1.30 left unused.

We only used £5.70 worth of electricity over 9 days, including using the fridge,lighting ,halogen heater (we took this heater as we were woried about using our vans own fan heater,) halogen oven, hairdryer and charging up our small personal gadgets.

So now when Campsite owners add £3-£4 for EHU's on their Campsite fee's per night, we know different and will avoid using them.

Just reporting back, 

Daughter, Hubby and Kids have booked up your sugested CS (Campsite )  they are looking forward to meeting all the animals. The reviews on UKCS were really good.
