Would it work on a normal 2-ring cooker do you think? We have a party grill which I was wanting to take to France but this would do the job and save some valuable space! (which will make the OH happy!)
I bought a round pizza metal plate from wilkos which I use, cost coppers, in fact I bought a spare and when it's knackered just throw it away(oop's sorry, recycle it)

is that with holes in??
does the grease drip on the cooker
gretchell i am not sure what you mean by 'ordinary'. The hubcap thingy is made by brightspark and it slots nicely onto the suitcase cooker but there is no reason why it shouldn't rest on another sort of gas ring.
I cant remember the name of it, it does have a windshield which I had to try and drop but the sides didnt go down far enough and the grill just didnt sit right so I thought I'd just stick to the frying pan for the brekkie
I got my money back when I sold it on as we'd never actually cooked on it so it was still new
it has been mentioned before but i can't find the thread. ...
bought the same one from Netto last year, think it was £2.99 best thing i've ever bought, keep looking for them this year as all my freinds want one, brill!! burgers cook a treat on them & as you say they clean like a dream
looked at one of these a few times does it really keep the fat in the well and not drip on the cooker? Piccy made my mouth water as we love cooking bacon etc outdoors, we used the paella pan last time but am very interested in one of these - see more spending
Well i've got to say i was a bit doubtful about where all the fat went but have never had it spill onto the cooker as yet!! even after doing the burgers on them. l just let it go cold after use clean out the fat into the bin with kitchen roll, let them soak for a min or two & wash, simple, best piece of kit we have ever bought
Oh i'v bought one of those at the cost of £9.99 from our local camping shop. Then saw them for 99p in a cheap shop in Paignton. Must try it next weekend. Will remember an oven glove tho.

yes :)
I checked last night when i fished mine out of the dishwasher and theslots are above the 'moat'. The centre of the dome is solid so no drips go onto the cooker. (you can see it in more detail here )
It isn't marked dishwasher safe by lakeland but it didn't seem to do it any harm. (no i don't take my dishwasher camping although i would if i could .. and i don't even do ehu.. but i bung my camping stuff in there before i put it away)
The non stick surface is a bit 'sensitive' so avoid sharp objects.. but otherwise it is a tough piece of kit.
