Also like these old pocket TV's that people use. these are all analogue. Chris
Hasnt this all been said in the posts above?
The whole point I posted this was to alert folks of a bargain, because as ive pointed out even if you buy this and a freeview box it would still be a LOT cheaper than buying a new freeview lcd - and you'd need an antenna that could pick up digital for the expensive one too, so thats not even an argument, however in digital only areas the signal is a lot stronger, so you wouldnt need an expensive one. For something that you can plug a dvd player into or a games console and use in most of the UK to pick up telly for the next couple of years, then its a bargain. See what I mean?
FYI
Granada,Border,Wales and the West country are currently the only non analogue areas in the UK.
2010
Scotland North - Channel Islands
2011
Scotland Central and the "west" area of south England
Yorkshire/Central and Anglia
2012
Meridian, London, Tyne Tees and UTV (Northern Ireland)
So I'd say its worth a few quid of anyones money judging by the switchover dates.
