Checked my two one full okay
nearly empty one on the recall list
So thought I better "GO" and change it no problem at all they knew all about it and exchanged for a full one "result"
Just in case you "GO" to the same place as me they didn't even check my bottle for date code, so just make sure you only take recalled bottles
Swapped back to normal when there were problem's with supply, the guy did say there was a ship on the way with a massive delivery,it must have arrived if there is no problem exchanging bottles now.
GO didn't have any at the time.
I swapped mine at local Calor Depot and told the guy there was a smell of gas when the bottle was in use.He said " we can't test them but we send them away and they are pressure tested before going on sale". I asked him how was I able to buy this leaky one then.,He didn't know.
I had better check the one I have now.

From Calor site..
"What happens if the returned cylinder is half full/nearly empty? Do I receive a new full cylinder?
Yes – a full replacement 6kg CalorLite® will be issued entirely free of charge if the customer is returning a CalorLite® cylinder as part of the recall."
Both of my Calor Lite 6kg. cylinders need replacing according to the dates on the bases and none have the 5.5 mm. diameter hole punched in the tare disc which identifies that they have been officially tested by Calor. One is full with no usage and the other about 80% full but when I returned them on Saturday to my stockist they refused to exchange them. They said they won't exchange any until they have had confirmation from Calor first. That was a wasted 35 mile round trip for me going to the storage to check them, taking them back to the stockist, returning them to the caravan and then back home again. It states that customers need to return then immediately in bold letters which means NOW, not Wednesday as stated in smaller writing.
