Hi guys.
Im looking at getting a telescopic flag pole I think thats what you call them! Im doing some research now and would like to ask how do you decide to choose what to fly? I have seen wind socks, spinners and flags any tips would be helpful any picts even better.
My grandson and niece 4 and 7 would find a flying fish rather funny or am im being silly now?

Hi, I have 2 poles and 2 pink pigs at the tip of each. Usualy have a Skull & Crossed bones (Pirate) and a Yorkshire Rose. Abroad I add the Union Flag and the National flag of the Country I'm in above these on each pole. If you attach the poles to your tent, furl them on a windy night or you'll get no sleep, on my van it's fine. I attach the poles to the tent or van with cable ties.
Wow thanks for all replies most helpful but decisions decisions what to fly!!! And um im thinking grandson would love teradactol hes dinosaur made. My niece well thats difficult one spongebob! Which I hate! My favourite if they can fly as not sure if im reading it right are the parrots lovely colours.

ours is just a 5m pole from ebay with either a Welsh (for me), Lion Rampant (for the Scots contingent in the family, everyone else), a pirate flag for the 2 youngest (and me!) and a shark windsock. It's whatever takes the fancy on a certain day!!!
Aberj6 thanks for the picture as was unsure what size to get. Still looks really tallsat 5m. So im convincing OH to make a purchase.
Great looking tent.

We have a 6m pole with a sheep wind sock, a Welsh flag and a St Davids cross, I use a stake designed to hold up the pole and also a connector to hold it onto the jockey wheel
