Don't know if anyone else has tried these but I am really impressed. I have tried ALL vacuum bags in the past and basically they've all been pretty cr at p! So, Matalan were selling them for £7 a pack, two large and one medium, I thought I'll get some just to try even if they only last us this weekend. Packed them up today and they're great.

Helo tracey, i bought these bags from QVC when they first came out and raved on about them until i looked at them 1 week later and discovered they had all inflated again, complete waste of money . OH said well you will be taken in with all these wonder thingys.
Had more success with bin bags and the hoover(sounds kinky )but it works
Hi Trace we bought 2 packs of these bags 3 weeks ago when we were up in Whitley Bay from Matilan they were £7 for three seperate bags or buy two lots for a Tenner which we did and have found them very good
I had the same problem with them re-inflating. I had QVC ones and Index ones. I just stick stuff in them, vacuum the air out, or roll them up, and let them get on with it - at least it keeps duvets under control!
The only other thing I find awkward with them is that the bag gets smaller but the plastic sealing strip across the top stays the same (obviously!) which makes them difficult to store. I've got them under the spare bed and the bags go under nicely but the plastic strips stick out.
We had some of those ones, they were a nuisance and we kept ours under the bed cos they wouldn't fit anywhere else! The matalan ones don't have the plastic pole type sealing strips, just a zip up type one.
