Thanks, saw these earlier in the year in the camping and caravaning club mag and was going to order one but had forgot about them, its really good to hear about first hand experience with them, im going to order one now before I forget again.

I've just ordered one of these lamps and will be pitting it against the Scottish Midges this summer... that's neem, catnip, avon skin so soft, jungle formula, citronella and a clearlite lamp, plus a hat with the net.. oh, and I'll probably be eating marmite as well.. even though I hate it !!

Maybe I'll catch the midges in a good mood..!!

I heard a rumor that if you eat lots of marmite or take vitamin b they dont like the taste of you as much

obviously not marmite fans :)

Only ordered the lamp last night.. will let you know how long it takes...

I'll have to get one of these.  Will one be enough?  Where do you get the citronella oil or whatever?

You can get the Citronella oil at any DIY store or shop and quite often at petrol stations, it says that the resevoir that comes with the lamp is refillable although you can buy the replacement resevoirs from their website..

I haven't tried it yet so don't know if you'll need more than one..
