Hi Dazz285.
Could have been me, banging on about Induction Hob, I got the one from Lidl last year at £25, this Aldi offering looks a little better on spec.
Great for camping, as you can set the power level, so not to trip the EHU.
I bought one last year but never got the pans. Just had a look on amazon and the Anthony Worrel" pans are out of stock. Is there some sort of sign that means they are ok to use with induction hobs?
My pan set are copper based and work fab with the one I got last year from aldi. Also found a spare old set packed away from when we moved that are stainless steal so should work too.

Stainless steel won't work. Guess how I found out.
Not all cookware will work with induction stoves. Induction cooking requires ferrous (magnetic) cookware, because it is all about electro-magnetism. Grab a magnet and stick it to the bottom of the pan. If it sticks to it, it will work on an induction stove. Most cookware sold now has an induction symbol on the packaging if it is induction ready or it is clearly stated as a benefit. If in doubt, however, the magnet test will always let you know whether or not you can use it.
Some stainless steel will work but not all. Note copper pans will not work unless they have a steel insert, same for aluminium. Cast iron works brilliantly. We have an induction hob at home, would never change to a different one, very fast, a doddle to clean.

Howd you find out? Dont tell me you blew it up or summit lol
No, hob would just switch off straight away. Confused the hell out of me at first, though the two hobs I had bought were faulty.
Slightly of topic, but on the Gadget show the other day, they showed how electric cars can be kept charged up, from induction plates in the road, and also in parking bays.
Can't imagine trying to fry an egg in the middle of the fast lane on the M6 though, and worse still being run over by a Nissan Leaf, because I never heard it comming.
