We took ours out this weekend, after a winter in the shed, and something is not quite right! I thought it would be prudent to have it serviced, as neither OH or I are technically minded! Does anyone know who would do this? We live in South East Essex.
All help gratefully received!

Normally we pump it, turn the little lever thingy, turn the knob on and light. When the flame is established we turn the lever round and adjust the flame with the knob.
This time the flame went barmy. Would not adjust and it looked like the flames were going back up the pipe - heading for the petrol tank. We tried a couple of times and then gave up.
I love this stove and it has never given us a moments jip before so I would like to sort it asap.
Thanks your info.

So is it flaring yellow flames ? Check the manifold, the silver part where the brass bit of the generator goes, I recall another forum member had a similar problem due to spider webs inside the manifold.
After checking the manifold as Weetabix suggests, try cleaning the burner flame spreaders, either by brushing, or disassemble and wash.
Also, check the generator - take the generator/fuel tank assembly off the stove, pump it up, and with no naked flames anywhere, open the valve. You should see and hear a fine even spray of fuel.
If none of this works, can we have some more symptoms please ?
Thank you ever so much guys. I will try these at the weekend.
What I also noticed was that the fuel appeared to still be being pumped through as when I turned the knob to off the flame was still burning on the burners.
