Packing up this morning after a weekend away I was unable to remove the regulator from our BP lite bottle. It turned off fine but wouldn't budge. In the end I had to cut the pipe and tie the lever down to prevent it turning on just so we could come home. I've left it in the gaden tonight just in case and will take it down to Homebase in the morning to sort out, but what I want to know is, is this common ?
I went for BP lite (despite them being not quite as widely available as Calor) as aside from being very light and easy to see how much is left, it fits perfectly in our trailer box. If they're a bit prone to being problematic I'll change.
There's no button, there or anywhere else on the regulator. I've never had to do anything other than turn the lever to off and pull for it to come off :(
Well that made me look like a right plum didn't it. I took it into Homebase and the bloke just pushed the lever in and off it came
I've never had to push the lever in before, whenever I've turned it off it just popped off, and I'm sure I tried pushing the lever in and it didn't move.
