Roadworks start this week on the M25 between junctions 27 & 28. Might be delays for people heading for Dover & Folkstone at certain times. I'm going to the Tunnel next Saturday so hope its not too bad.

Yes, it was pretty bad last weekend! There are suggestions that jams could back up from Dartford all the way back to Enfield ..... I shall certainly be going the "wrong" way round - just hope that everyone else doesn't have the same idea ...... (last weekend it was very slow but not static between M40 and Staines)

Thanks to the M25 roadworks in the Chorleywood area it took me four and a half hours to cover the hundred or so miles up from Portsmouth to where I live in Hertfordshire on June 29th. The queue was pretty much at a snail's pace all the way from junction 15 to 19.

What got me was that there was little or no mention of it on the radio traffic announcements. Unusual for "Sally Traffic".

We're going Sunday morning (tomorrow) so I'm hopeing it will be OK, cos it's Sunday. Prohably hit M25 around 9ish I expect.

Or is that wishful thinking?
