Us too, Alan, providing the sun is shining there!  We holidayed there first in 1981 - and have been back many many times since.  Seeing these photographs, including some of mine, makes me want to go back.  We've a hankering to canoe on the Tarn again before we get too old - or EEC health and safety rules prohibit it!

Its the vultures and the magnificent scenery for me. I was planning just a couple of days on my own on the bike with my little tent, exploring Cantal. Trouble is the Tarn is 500 miles from Caen, and thats a bit far to ride in a single day .... that means stopovers = more expense and extra days = extra bunches of flowers and housework at home.

These photos have really perked me up......last summer after 15 days of glorious sunshine we crossed over the tarn gorge, needless to say it was very cloudy, cold and rainy and we couldnt see anything.
This year, it has to be better!
