I am with the majority here. Mayday through the Caravan Club, which piggybacks on the Geenflag network but with double journey cover if you breakdown and are booked in at a site. That means they will tow you to a site for your holiday, and if the car is not repaired, will tow you and the car + caravan back home at the end of the holiday. You can get different levels of cover with Mayday. We are covered for my wife and myself driving any vehicle (and towing), at home, rescue and recovery. The caravan is covered for breakdown while being towed.
Of course the breakdown cover is in addition to the normal car insurance and caravan insurance, that hopefully will cover you comprehensively for non-breakdown problems e.g. comprehensive damage by you or a third party, fire, theft etc.

ADAC fantastic European cover, in the uk they are the aa. Also includes some health cover when on holiday.
....OK, we are on the ADAC website, its in German, Google translate does not really help me to find full details of cover provided, so now what?
I've just joined CC Mayday today, I had Red Pennant for abroad last year and although I didn't need to use it, I had peace of mind that it covered everything I wanted had it all gone pearshaped.
