Just purchased our Coachman caravan. Already replaced the Carver Crystal 3 water filter (because can no longer buy filters) replaced with a Filtapac Filter. The water is flowing but the pressure is very low, probably take 10mins to fill the kettle!. Can anyone help?
Check that the two clips that hold the water pump is tight and that the rubber 'O' ring hasn't split otherwise it will suck air in giving low water pressure also check the pipe connections at the pressure switch to see if they are tight or split. If that seems okay then adjust the pressure switch accordingly as mentioned. If that doesn't work then see if you can borrow a water pump to determine if your submersible pump is drawing water efficiently. If not you need to replace your pump. Also try sterilising the system out to remove any blockage that may have occurred. Low voltage battery could also cause the pump to run slower than normal.
if it has a carver 2 water heater it may be the non return valve is stuck.did you fit a non return in the pipe when you fitted the filter,if so it could be possible you have put it in the wrong way round. check pump is not leaking badly outside when switched on.odd times the pipe comes off the white connector. check pump is running fast when connected to a battery with two wires.if running slow it needs changing.should have said make sure the water heater drain has not been left in the open position.

------------- the only silly question is the one you do not ask.
On some taps there is a gauze where the water comes out and this can get blocked. Unscrew the end of the tap and see if there is any build up on the gauze. It cured our similar problem on our coachman.
I had a provlem with the pressure switch on mine at the weekend. I was alying in bed last night and could hear the pump running. Turned it off at the time, but this morning I found the adjuster on the pressure switch had been turned a bit when I was taking stuff out of the under bed locker.
