Thinking about buying a full cove rfor our van
Who has one?
Which make?
I have found 3 makes online, Kampa, maypole and Royal, are they all as good as each other or is one better than the other?
Thanks for all advice.
Kim

I was thinking of getting a water proof cover just to stop any leaks through the winter but they're not cheap.

They are not usually waterproof.

Water resistant. Usually they keep the worst of the rain off, But moisture can enter. As the material breathes.

I wouldn't buy a towsure one again. It has gone all crumbly and its not that old.

Mountain warehouse has got 33% off the Kampa caravan covers. Unfortunitly only start at 5m, which is too big for our van!

Get a good quality breathable cover like protec or specialised and don't waste money on cheaper covers.  A lot of negative comments about covers have come from people who have only had the cheaper ones and not the top two makes.

Protec ... made to measure and easy access to the van door. We got one last year only down side, we had to wait 10 weeks for it.

One more thing wash and wax before you put it on or you get polished spots on the van.

We use a pyramid one and have found it very good so far. It is breathable and it stop bird muck & the like getting of the 'van.

So far with the rain we've had over the past few weeks it is showing no signs of holding damp on the van. I'll keep you informed as autumn & winter really gets going

In addition to my previous post. Where I store my 'van there are some that have bought the aluminiumised covers but the complaints about tearing in high winds etc. put me off buying one of those but in the end it's down to personal prefernce.
