Hi Bob , do you know where you stand with the 2 year warranty , as i've read on the Purpleline website that they say , 2 year warranty only if fitted by a professional installer . http://www.purpleline.co.uk/Enduro/Faq.html

I'm pretty sure the parts still have a 2 year guarantee, you are not covered for labour if you fitted it yourself

[That's not what it says
No it actually says this:
What is the warranty information?
This product is covered by a 2 year Parts & Labour guarantee if fitted by a professional installer.
A further 3 year extended warranty is soon to be available.
Please note that our guarantee covers reasonable use of the Mover, it does NOT cover any
damage caused by misuse. The also applies to a malfunction of failure of the mover that
has been caused by poor or incorrect installation.
To ensure the validity of the guarantee please carry out maintenance in accordance
with the maintenance section. We reserve the right to make a call out and/or repair
charge for any work required to be undertaken to rectify faults that are outside of
the company’s control i.e. caravan battery failure, incorrect or poor fitting, misuse, accidental
damage, etc.
We got a reconditioned mover from Powrtouch - it cost £600 including fitting and the "powerbar" option so you can apply the rollers from either side. It comes with 3 years full warranty, ok so not the 5 years that you get from them normally but for a £400 saving I thought it was worth it! Might be worth giving them a ring to see if they have any in stock before opting for the enduro?
The choice is often down to how you view support or length of guarantees. They aren't important to me, as I reckon that if they go wrong, they will do it soon after installation, and if it does fail after the guarantee period, they will be a pretty easy thing to repair DIY.
I preferred a good price for a new one rather than spending more cash. That's why I went for the Enduro, it's done another excellent job over the last three weeks with several moves.
The problem with recommendations is that unless you have tried them all, you cannot recommend one more than another, the tendency is always to claim yours is the best, isn't it.
I've never talked to anyone who is unhappy with the one they've got.
