I see there is going to be a new range of Bailey touring caravans released at the NEC Show soon, they are to be added to the existing ranges and called Pegasus.
Not so far, original guess was an entry into the motorhome market which I'm sure they plan to do long term but Bailey have confirmed its a touring caravan.
Hopefully its a major replacement for the Ranger. They are looking a bit dated now compared with the competition.Being aimed at younger people they need to look up to date.
No I don't like that teak wood in a lot of the new vans either. saw the ad just thought it would be a caravan, never thought of them making motor homes!
Knightwarrior - I personally don't think it will replace the Discovery. Am I right in thinking the Discovery was the latest of their ranges to be updated. I know it doesn't suit everyone, but it has it's fair share of 'supporters'. My guess is theat it will be something completely different.
I'm just guessing, Bailey used to have 4 ranges before they ditched the Discovery Range which was the basic spec and lighter range of vans.
I'd be surprised if Bailey are entering the MH market and kept it so secret, especially if there has been modifications to the factory and extra labour to accommodate the build.
Being a mere mortal I could be wrong on all counts
My guess is that the GT60 was only supposed to be a limited edition, but because sales were so good they kept it on a little longer. I think the Ranger will be the entry level, then the Pegasus then the Peageant and then the Senator. The GT60 was only for the 60th anniversery which has now passed.
The shilloette shows a 3 part window, centre jockey wheel and Alko AKS (yes I know I am sad) and some very promenant grab handles. My guess is that it is a model above the Senator, but only time (2 weeks now!!!) will tell.
