Hi
We are just in the process of buying a new to us Van. A Lunar Delta 2012 model.
The problem I have is the Alko Secure wheel locks. Trader tried to pull a fast one and said they weren't fitted as standard on 2012 models. Luckily we had done our home work and checked the specs.
I said I checked the specs and it did come with them as standard. He said it didn't have any with it, but may have some we could buy! What a coincidence!!
Anyway whether or not they are included remains to be seen when we pick the van up.
I am struggling to find out what type I need to buy (I won't be buying them off him if they don't provide them) can any one help me please to confirm which model I need?
Thanks

I know the 'receptor' part behind the wheel / brake drum is standard, but not sure about the external segment assy of the lock.
I just bought a Nemesis as I was finding the Alko system fiddly to align.
The actual cast segment with lock that fits shape of spoked wheel is a extra unless thrown in by dealer also hitch lock is an extra. but all gubbings mounted behind wheel and bolted to chassis comes with van from Alko as part of chassis.
I move van back and forth with wheel wrench while pushing casting in between spokes to align with spigot before lowering steadies, if bolts torqued to correct setting nut will not slacken when moving wheel in forward direction. I have always found this a very easy way to align the casting and spigot.
If poster above is correct Alko 24 fits a Lunar Starbuck 14 inch wheel
If you can show dealer the 2012 brochure proving van came with complete Alko lock and van does not have complete lock knock £256 of his price as this about price of dearest casting and lock part for Alko wheel locks which range from about £145 to £256for the visible bits IE casting, bolt ,tube ETC which usually come in black zip up bag with keys..
Mine came in at £149to fit my van but got from WandaHomes for £95 South Cave.
And if you do get the wheel locks, Make sure you register the keys in your name.So who ever owned them they need to get in touch with ALKO,to comfirm sale etc.
------------- Roughing it in style at Calloose caravan and camping holiday park nr St Ives.(seasonal pitch)
Its not a hangover, its wine flu!
Thanks everyone I checked the insurance policy and it doesn't specifically state that Alko wheellocks must be used. Just Wheel clamp and hitch lock. So was thinking about getting the Nemisis as it will cost me £500 to get two Alko ones and as I have just had to buy pretty much all the kit again (battery, water and wate carrier) the less money I have to spend out the better.
My view is the locks were with it when the dealer had it in, the bag for them and the jack are still in the van. The keys are also still on the key ring, but whether they suddenly appear when we pick it up is another question.
I am not sure whether we will be able to push for money off as they could claim second vans are sold as seen. Will take up spec details though to see if it helps.

We have the 2011 Delta TI and take also takes the lock 24. We purchased a Lock 'n Level for our caravan and it makes fitting both locks a total doddle. Hopefully the dealer si giving you a discount for not having the locks as they are over £200 each.
Another thing is that the caravan comes standard with a water mains hook up plus an outside shower hook up. We upgraded the ALDE control panel to the new colour touchscreen which is a lot easier to use. In addition, we had a major modification done to the bulkhead to allow the warm heat to flow up through vents letting the caravan warm up quicker.
Does the caravan come with a motor mover? We are out in ours at the moment.
Yep we saw the water hook up thing we do have our One that connects to the aquaroll still so will use that if it doesn't come with it. I'll see how it goes. I found the outside shower head.
No mover with it although I've seen the manuals for it in the van. Again funnily enough they said they might have one we could buy, but that's not standard spec so won't win that argument. Will buy a mover over the summer as can't afford one right now.
It does have an an aircon unit fitted which we could quite happily pass on to get the other stuff, but hey I guess it means we will be nice a cool next time we go to the South of France.
Do you have any info on the Alde touch screen stuff please and details of the mods you had done
Also does yours have the tracker? We have all the info for it but not a clue how to sort it out !!
We have a small solar panel ready to keep battery charged (will be in storage with no power) as we read about tracker stuff needing power and will alert when power levels drop. No idea how we will connect it yet though!
Picking it up today so excited but all this stuff with the dealer is taking the edge off it!
We have a Dometic Freshjet 2200 Air con fitted plus a satellite dome. We have the Powrtouch mover fitted and although it costs slightly more than others it has a 5 year warranty. The ALDE upgrade kit cost us about £160 and was more of a want it than a must have.
Have a look by the front windows to see if the bulkhead board has the vents. That is the board with the bottom curtain runner. I have picures but they are a bit of a hassle to post on this forum.
Most importantly check the age of the tyres as our tyres were a year old on delivery of a brand new caravan! It is also worth having a Tyrepal unit fitted as we had a pucture but did not know as it is a twin axle. It was only when driver's flashed us we realised we had a blow out.
We use a Isabella porch awning which is ideal for us as not very heavy. If you look on Preloved we have our Ventura porch awning up for sale and it is in very good condition.
Is the Alde upgrade kit the interface to let you remote control your heating from an iPhone iank01?
Another vote here for the Nemesis. Our new Lunar came with Alko wheel lock as standard and we have a self engaging motor mover but fitting the Alko is still a pain as you have to screw it into the receiver which means you first have to unscrew the dust cap. Nemesis can be fitted by the time I got the dutcap off!!
Someone will get a used only once Alko Wheel lock when we trade the van in 2 or 3 years😄
