The forthcoming annual Scottish Caravan and Outdoor Leisure Show will take place on 8 – 11 February 2007 at the SECC, Glasgow. Spanning 3 halls across the SECC, the show will accommodate a fantastic one stop shop providing a full range of the latest caravans, motorhomes, holiday homes, accessories, marine products, camping products and Industry related clubs / associations.

The show offers a range of the latest affordable boats & leisure boats including jet skis, dinghies, canoes, and even chandleries. Whether you are buying a boat for the first time or you are a keen boating enthusiast we have everything covered, prices ranging from a few pounds to Ł40,000.

There will be a number of specially built feature areas throughout the show including cookery demonstrations taking place each day. Chef Billy Walker, author of Easy Barbecues, will demonstrate a selection of barbecue recipes specially adapted for cooking in caravans and the great outdoors!

For the more adventurous visitor, Glasgow Climbing Centre will be bringing along their mobile climbing wall, where experienced instructors will be on hand to give 1:1 advice and assistance to anyone wishing to try this out. The wall itself is 7m high and has a realistic climbing surface and with 6 roped climbing routes it will give visitors the opportunity to try different grades, such as easy, vertical and overhanging. All equipment is provided and the wall is suitable for anyone over 110cm high.

The Caravan Club is offering show visitors the opportunity to hitch up and tow a caravan with free expert tuition from qualified instructors. Visit stand no H30 and book a 30-minute slot. Don't forget to bring your driving licence!

Other features will include the Guinness Bar, talks from RNLI on sea safety, guest speakers, and a child friendly zone.

Attendees will have a fantastic opportunity to win a brand new Adria Action caravan worth Ł9000. This new lightweight caravan will be displayed at the entrance to the show. A truly unique and stylish caravan, the Action is designed to accommodate an active couple or an adventurous single and is easily manoeuvred by only one person.
