VRX 330S - 3 Berth Tent
This best seller from 2005 is easy to erect, with short
pole sleeves and reinforced pegging points. The VRX 330S also
comes with a porch groundsheet, breathable polyester inner,
gusseted windows for improved ventilation and reflective zip
toggles.
It all goes, comfortably, into a easy fit bag for quick
pack up and is very light, weighing only 7.52kg. It is a good
size 3 man tent with a total length of 3.83 metres and width
of 2.25 metres on the outer.
The sleeping area is 225 cm by 225 cm

I've just bought my first ever tent, namely the VRX330S. Why did I choose this tent ?
Well, basically, I intend to tour by motorbike, and therefore, I had to have something that was fairly light, with a small pack size - however, as I've also got a trick knee, I didn't want one of the small dome tents that you can only get into by crawling.
I wanted something with a bit of "living" room too, and the porch area on the 330 easily takes a decent size chair with room to spare ... and with decent headroom !!
The VRX330S fits the bill perfectly. It weighs just under the 8kg mark, and the pack size is perfect for laying across the pillion seat, and a heck of a lot smaller than some of the 2/3 man tents that are on the market !!
When up, the VRX330S actually feels quite roomy for what is billed as a small three-man tent. With only a slight bending of the neck, you can walk straight in - no crawling needed here !!
It has two doors - one at the front (which can also be opened from the top like a vent window), and the second at the side. The only window, is the rooflight, but with the front door's abilities, this isn't a major worry.
The clincher ?? (And to answer an earlier post) It's really easy to put up !! As mentioned, this is my first tent (never been camping before), but I managed to put this up on my own (on the first attempt) in 17 minutes! ... Comments from Minty__UK
I have just pitched (after a fashion) the CRX330 in our very hard landscaped back garden - Wow!!! was that easy or what!!! Took me 10 mins to get it to a standing position and although I was unable to peg and guy I recon it would have taken me 15 mins or so to get it ready to receive the inner.
I am well chuffed with it. Grand little tent and would even be big enough for 2 small chairs to fit in the living area. I have seen this tent perform in a gale and I was very impressed.
